This Christmas/ winter song has been on my mind ever since we came here. Even though, I absolutely love summer holidays abroad and lying on the beach, the older I get, the more I appreciate fresh air and never ending walks in the mountains.

Me and my family organized a spontaneous 4- day trip to the east of Slovakia and I am so excited to be here. When I was a child, we used to come here every summer because of a small cottage in Slovak paradise (National park). I remember that feeling of freedom, breathtaking views and the smell of wood everywhere.

But back to the present🙋🏻‍♀️… Slovakia is a heart of Europe and Tatras belong to the most beautiful places in the area. Its highest peaks became a national symbol and attract more and more tourists every year.

I truly cannot find a better description than WINTER WONDERLAND❄️🤍☃️. Look at the pictures and see for yourself. (Location: Strbske pleso, Vysoke Tatry)We stayed in the Hotel Lesnica*** (Slovak paradise) which is around 40km from High Tatras. The panorama on the way looks beautiful and I am sure that all the mountain lovers out there will love this area as much as I do. The mentioned National park (Slovak paradise) is the most visited in the summer but also very magical during winter time. Choose hiking or wellness, it does not matter. If you live in a big polluted city like me, you will definitely appreciate the fresh air, views and atmosphere🇸🇰🌲🌞.

Short spontaneous trips are the best and this one has been great so far😍🥰 … And because I consider this blog to be my personal travel diary, I wanted to share it with you guys so thank you for stopping by😘.
