I wish I could say: “I live in London, Paris or New York!” But my hometown has always been Bratislava and even though it is not the most beautiful city in the world, I kind of like it and enjoy strolling around. Especially, this part of the year is more exciting than the others. You can see and smell the upcoming Xmas everywhere. Whether you visit the old town, the surrounding of Danube or a shopping centre, the decorations differ every year and they are more than beautiful. The Christmas decorations in the Eurovea Shopping Centre are simple but still breathtaking.
This is the old town. I love the streets and the atmosphere here.
Typical Christmas markets offer our traditional food, vine, sweets and some odds and ends for pleasure.
These windowshops look so NON-Slovak!
The Main Square and the markets.
Bratislava is becoming a popular tourist destination nowadays. This small historical town has so much to offer… Can´t wait for the next stroll!
